While I am deeply entrenched in biblical studies it has not kept me from being blessed by Buddhism on a daily basis. I have written elsewhere, and often, that I find Buddhism somewhat of an antidote to Western commercialized Christianity. I find no disparity between my Christian faith and how Buddhist practice informs daily life. For me, Lovingkindess came by way of it's constant pairing in the Old Testament with Truth. And then the person of Jesus embodying in time and space (an now) the same. For me, Buddhism help me let go of things, be more present, walk lighter in life and with others. Let go of agendas...except for myself and Lovingkindess in its varieties would be at the top. Thanks Paula. This is a wonderful story.
